Marketing rule number one is to know who you are selling to; who’s your target audience and what do they want from you? In terms of content, one marketing rule will apply to any potential consumer of any business: Good visuals. That means all your marketing materials, whether it be on a website, social media, banners (like Youtube or Google ads), billboards, business cards, television ads, bulk mailings… They all need to be high quality and well thought out. Something the consumer can see and say to themselves, “I want THAT!” And “that” could be anything; a car, a meal at a restaurant, soap, vacation, or even something a little less tangible like the services you offer. Having clear visuals that speak to your target audience will be the first step in their wanting to do business with you. A good photographer can take your vision and turn it in to something that your customers can dream of.
